Who is Irina Tamme?


Irina Tamme’s education
For many health and wellness enthusiasts in Estonia, Irina Tamme needs no introduction. She has inspired countless people through her knowledge, example, and dedication — guiding them on their weight-loss journeys and helping them build healthier habits that last.
Irina holds a degree in Health Protection from the Tartu Health Care College and is currently pursuing a Master’s in Public Health at the University of Tartu, Faculty of Medicine. She has also completed a Nutrition Counseling program at the Academy of Public Health and participated in more than 15 professional development courses in her field.
For many years, Irina worked as a nutrition consultant at Fitlap, where her responsibilities included creating and photographing recipes, writing educational blog posts, developing new health-oriented products in cooperation with partner brands, providing client consultations, and contributing to the design of various wellness services. She has written articles for numerous publications, created menus for magazines and companies, delivered lectures, appeared on podcasts, and even co-authored a cookbook.


Personal experience and professional journey
Today, Irina shares her expertise with students at Tartu Health Care College, where she teaches courses related to public health, health promotion, and nutrition. She is also an entrepreneur and the menu creator for Narva-Jõesuu Medical SPA, where guests can enjoy healthy, balanced, and delicious meals designed under her guidance.
Irina’s approach is grounded in personal experience: she has lost 30 kilograms, a transformation she describes as life-changing — giving her a new sense of energy, confidence, and courage, as well as a completely new career path. Once distant from sports, she has now been training consistently at the gym for over three years and has completed certification as a bodybuilding and fitness coach.
Irina’s mission is simple yet powerful: to help people understand that their health is largely in their own hands, and that with the right mindset and approach, anyone can change their life.
