Narva-Jõesuu Medical SPA Brings a Prestigious Award to Estonia 🏆

At this year’s Innovation Awards ceremony held by the European Spas Association (ESPA), the prestigious Innovative Medical SPA award was brought home to Estonia. The winner: Narva-Jõesuu Medical SPA.

On October 9, the European Spas Association celebrated its 30th anniversary with an annual congress. The two-day program concluded with the festive ESPA Innovation Awards ceremony, where the best European spas were honored across various categories. This year, the esteemed event took place in Haapsalu. Winners were announced in eight categories, and the Innovative Medical SPA award went to Estonia — specifically to Narva-Jõesuu Medical SPA.

“A few years ago, we created the Antistress Center to help people relieve emotional tension and reduce stress levels. Our team succeeded in combining a holistic approach, the legacy of traditional sanatorium therapy, and innovation. This combination can quite literally improve people’s quality of life, extend longevity, and increase the number of happy years lived. I’m truly delighted that our efforts have been recognized,” said Karina Küppas, CEO of Narva-Jõesuu Medical SPA.

The European Spas Association (ESPA) is an international organization that brings together spa associations, health resorts, and medical spas from 19 European countries. Its mission is to promote evidence-based health tourism, support quality and innovation standards in the spa and balneology sectors, and advocate for the shared interests of Europe’s spas and health resorts. ESPA’s work helps strengthen the role of spas as part of Europe’s healthcare system, economy, and cultural heritage.
