Our specialists are highly qualified professionals with extensive experience and a sincere commitment to improving people’s health and quality of life.

Karina Küppas / Director of Narva-Jõesuu Medical SPA / Founder of the Antistress Center / Coach and Health Innovation Project Developer
Karina is a seasoned professional with more than 20 years of leadership experience in the tourism and medical wellness sectors. Since 2009, she has been managing Narva-Jõesuu Medical SPA. Under her leadership, the sanatorium has evolved into one of the region’s most innovative medical spas.
Karina is the creator and founder of the unique Antistress Center — the first nervous system recovery center in the Baltic States, established with the support of the European Regional Development Fund and implemented within COVID-19 recovery programs.
In 2025, under Karina’s leadership, Narva-Jõesuu Medical SPA received the “Innovative Medical Spa” award at the European Spas and Balneology Congress for its science-based, modern and effective approach to health restoration.
Karina is also an experienced coach, trainer and inspiring speaker. She conducts lectures and educational programs focused on mindset transformation, overcoming internal barriers and building a healthy lifestyle. Her mission is to help people improve their quality of life, find balance and cultivate a more conscious and holistic way of living.
Thanks to her profound knowledge of metacognitive coaching and health psychology, Karina is able to support both clients and her team in a systematic, scientific and inspiring way on their journey toward positive change.

Olga Kotova / Rehabilitation Physician at Narva-Jõesuu Medical SPA
Dr. Olga Kotova is a physician with in-depth knowledge and extensive international experience. Her professional, patient-centered approach ensures medically sound and trustworthy support for guests.
She graduated from the University of Tartu and has completed numerous advanced courses in balneology, climatotherapy, internal medicine and manual therapy.
Since 1983, she has worked in the sanatorium and spa treatment field, including more than 30 years as a rehabilitation physician at Narva-Jõesuu Medical SPA.

Tamara Dmitrieva / Medical Nurse / Detox Coordinator at Narva-Jõesuu Medical SPA
Tamara has been working in the medical field since 1996. In addition to her extensive medical knowledge, she has completed various trainings related to psychology, eating disorders and supporting “complex patients.”
Since 2012, Tamara has been working as a detox coordinator at Narva-Jõesuu Medical SPA, where she advises clients, performs medical procedures and monitors guests’ condition throughout their programs.
Her attentiveness, warm communication style and high professional competence create a safe and trusting environment for every client.

Aleksandra Gagen / Nutrition Therapist
Aleksandra is a nutrition therapist, trainer and public speaker: she presents at professional conferences, lectures at the Diabetes School and Luwi Training Center, and regularly comments on nutrition topics in the media (ETV+, Radio 4, Radio Maximum).
She provides guidance on healthy nutrition, weight-management diets and condition-specific therapeutic nutrition. Aleksandra’s main area of expertise is overweight issues — a challenge she has personally overcome. Through balanced and healthy eating, she succeeded in stopping weight gain and reducing her body weight by 25 kg.
Her knowledge of therapeutic nutrition, metabolic health and psychosocial factors makes her an essential part of the holistic system of the Detox & Antistress Center.

Irina Tamme / Nutrition Consultant / Lecturer in Nutrition and Health
Irina Tamme is a certified health specialist (public health protection) and nutrition consultant who regularly enhances her expertise in public health, nutritional psychology and fitness dietetics.
She is known for her science-based approach, deep analytical skills and ability to explain complex health and nutrition topics clearly and understandably. In addition to working with clients, Irina teaches at the Tartu Health Care College, contributing to the education of future specialists.
